“In May 2019, I saw a book folding design online for the word ‘Mom’ in a heart. Mother’s Day was coming up and so I made the design for my mom. One of my coworkers saw the book and asked me to make one for them. Then the next coworker asked for one. Then the next. Soon I ended up making 7 Mother’s Day books that year. Already addicted to the craft, and seeing that my local library was selling hard back books for $1 a piece, I set out to create a business making custom folded books. I soon learned to make my own patterns and the business only grew from there, to be the most rewarding endeavor of my life.”
